Nurgamazur Ironfist, son to Balin'ul Ironfist. He came forth when the Lonely Mountain had fallen upon hard times. The gods had spoken their words, and it seemed the dwarves under the mountain were punished for their past deeds. Nurgamazur came to reign and the Baruk Khazad-Dum flourished again under his iron will. As mastersmith he taught the young dwarves many a trick and technique, enhancing dwarven smithing on the whole, and making dwarven forged steel one of fabled quality. He was a true son to the Ironfist family, and many felt the solid metal grasp of his words and deeds whenever the dwarven honour was at stake. Not easily would one be forgiven or forgotten when the dwarven honor or respect was stained.
Stubborn he was, but rarely deaf to his brothers words. Firm and fierce, solid and protective towards his brothers and his homestead. A dwarf that will be missed in many ways. But mourning we shall no more. For he is awaiting us in our ancestors halls, at the side of Mahal. And in the end, we shall meet again.
